DJ Catwalk is a powerhouse in the music industry, seamlessly blending her Texas Latina roots with an open-format style that surprises and connects to every audience. Inspired by her love for fashion, she treats every stage as a runway—showcasing genre-defying music and curated looks that perfectly complement her sets.

Catwalk’s journey began in high school as a drummer, sparking her passion for creating beats. While studying music production and sound engineering in college, she took a part-time job DJing in San Antonio, which quickly evolved into a thriving career that led her to Austin, Los Angeles, and back to her hometown of San Antonio. Her versatile sound is a reflection of her journey—mixing Latin, country, hip-hop, house, disco, and dance music to create electrifying performances that balance familiarity with discovery.

Career Highlights

With over 16 years of experience, DJ Catwalk has left her mark at legendary venues across the U.S. and Mexico, including The Troubadour, The Roxy, The Viper Room, Stable Hall, Aztec Theatre, and SXSW. She has collaborated with major brands like IKEA, H&M, Whataburger, Bravo, the San Antonio Spurs, and Soho House Austin. She’s also shared the stage with icons like Snoop Dogg, The Raconteurs, Kali Uchis, and Chino Moreno from Deftones.

Her achievements include winning 1st place in the Truly Summer of Music DJ Battle and contributing original music to film and media projects. She is constantly evolving her craft, now focusing on her new project, 1800COWGIRL, that blends country classics with dance music adding in her signature remixes and creating one-of-a-kind sets that can’t be heard anywhere else.

Beyond the Decks

Known for her vibrant hat collection and show-stopping outfits, DJ Catwalk brings as much flair to her visuals as she does to her music. A mother of two, she also dedicates her time to educating aspiring DJs and producers through her work on the board of The AM Project, which empowers youth through digital arts and music.
